Forget all the confusing talk you’ve heard about golf ’s mechanics and complexities. It only takes away from your enjoyment of the game and prevents you from focusing on the fundamentals and attitude you need to play better and have more fun on the course. Right away, you’ll notice the straightforward and simple approach to improving your game at the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy.
ENHANCE YOUR GAME
We don’t believe in forcing an entirely new style of play on you. Rather, our small groupings (4 to 1 student/teacher ratio) allow instructors to work with you individually and improve specific areas of your game. That means we’re always working with a student’s natural development instead of against it. Better still, it means you’ll be well-schooled in Arnold Palmer’s infectious confidence off the tee, over hazards, and around the green.
HIS APPROACH
Arnold Palmer’s teaching and coaching methods focus on four specific areas of the game:
1) MASTERING THE FUNDAMENTALS
Full Swing: Pave the way to consistent ball striking and master Arnold Palmer’s 5 basic fundamentals; grip, address, one-piece takeaway, steady head, and acceleration. Includes video swing analysis and take home video.
2) THE SCORING ZONE
Short Game: Training on the address positions for short game shots found from 50 yards and in. Learn the skills needed to develop a consistent and accurate short game. Includes techniques for putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker shots.
3) COURSE STRATEGY
Lower Your Scores: We help you put it all together - club selection, pre-shot routine, and choosing a strategy that fits both your golfing ability and your playing personality. Learn the difference between taking a risk vs. a gamble, how to play golf shots vs. thinking swing mechanics, and most of all...have fun!
4) PRACTICE LIKE A PRO
Quality Practice: Learn how to make your practice time more effective. Develop a practice routine that will improve your confidence and consistency on the golf course. Includes drills and exercises that will help you build a functional and repeatable golf swing.

Academy Programs
| 1/2 DAY
When you only have a few hours, this session will allow you to choose your area of focus (four hours of instruction total). Select either Mastering the Fundamentals, The Scoring Zone, or Course Strategy.

Includes two days of academy instruction focusing on Mastering the Fundamentals and The Scoring Zone or The Scoring Zone and Course Strategy. Each day consists of four hours of instruction.

3 DAY
This comprehensive program includes three days of instruction focusing on Mastering the Fundamentals, The Scoring Zone, and Course Strategy. Each day consists of four hours of instruction.

5 DAY
Our most extensive session includes five days of instruction focusing on Mastering the Fundamentals, The Scoring Zone, Course Strategy, Practice Like A Pro, and Course Strategy II. Each day consists of four hours of instruction.

LEARN & PLAY
This unique program includes two hours of personalized instruction focusing on Mastering the Fundamentals and The Scoring Zone along with a 9- hole round of golf with your instructor.

NEW PLAYER
Designed for the “NEW” golfer only. This program includes comprehensive instruction on the game of golf plus information on the rules and etiquette. It will reduce the time frame involved in learning to play well. The academy is conducted over three days with four hours of instruction each day. We supply all equipment needed, have eliminated the anxieties, and inserted the fun...that’s what golf is all about.

GOLF ACADEMY LODGE PACKAGE INCLUDES

- Advance reservations for 18 holes of golf with cart
- Range balls, locker room access and club storage
- Reservations for an additional round of golf, at prevailing rates, may be made 3 days prior to date of play
- Forecaddies are required for any group of 3 or more Lodge guests. Payment id the responsibility of each player. $60 per group plus gratuity
